The challenge that I am currently experiencing in my workplace is with my subordinates and employees due to a lack of communication between us. Lack of communication is itself a perplexing challenge but along with it can create a plethora of other problems in the organization. This is mainly because all the important things and tasks can only be accomplished if they are communicated well to the other employees and if due to lack of communication between the higher authorities and the employees the message is not compactly transferred to them than the task cannot be executed and performed effectively (Gilchrist, 2015).

Communication is the binding key in the organization that holds the different elements in the workplace and allow the individuals to interact with each other productively (Bezhovets, 2018). If for some reason the manager his having problems with his employees and other members of the teams then the major cause behind this can be ineffective communication between them (Chayka, 2013).

Considering this context, I believe that the major reason behind the problem that I am facing as a manager in the organization is due to lack of communication. Due to this communication gap between us, all of us are not confident enough to interact with each other and share our problems and this causes major problems in the organization. Lack of communication is the root cause and along with this, I think that there are also other severe problems in the organization such as lack of employee engagement, high turn-over rate of the employees, and lack of productivity and creativity in the work which ruins the organization culture. All of these problems generate from the lack of communication and so this can be considered as the biggest challenge that I am facing in my organization as a manager.

  • Circumstance

The major circumstance that occupies the problem is the lack of communication between the management and the employees. This is created from the lack of interaction and confidence in the workforce. Lack of communication not only hinders the ability of the workforce to socialize, interact, discuss, and coordinate with each but it also reduces the productivity in the work (Razzante, 2018).

  • Thought

I believe that the most negative impact of this lack of communication between the workforce has decreased the efficiency of the work and it is also reducing the quality of the working environment. Along with this I also think that due to these challenges’ employees are not able to discuss things with me effectually.

  • Feeling

I am feeling very disappointed and I am bewildered by the state of the situation. This problem in the workforce will continue to increase if not addressed properly and it keeps on decreasing the efficacy in the organization which makes me even sadder.  管理学essay代写

To address the issue, I have tried multiple times to implement techniques and strategies to overcome the problem, but all in vain. I also tried to actively involve each of my employees in meetings, discussions, and other activities so that they can improve their interpersonal skills and we can have a stable flow in communication.

Result

I have received satisfactory changes in the performance of the employees after the implementation of certain actions, but still, major improvements in the field are required.

Effective communication can be induced in any organization by enhancing the interpersonal skills of the employees and by motivating them to talk (VanDerveer & Butterick, 2017). I will arrange communication training and lessons for the employees so that they can get assistance to enhance their communication skills and confidence in the organization. By providing effective training sessions and lessons on business communication to the employees they will gradually comprehend the importance of communication and how maintaining a stable flow in their communication level can ease so much work for them.

I will more promote virtual communication and I will try to communicate with my workforce more often.

I will also induce transparency in the matters and will encourage straight conversations with the employees. I will also try to listen to their concerns and thoughts more actively and gain their trust and confidence by being available for them. I will also allow them to present their ideas and opinions in the meetings so that they can speak their mind and communicate more openly.

For all this to be implemented I believe that I should have the mindset of a leader and not just of a manager because leaders always things for the growth and betterment of their workforce. Not just mindset I also need to feel and think of myself as a transformational leader because this will allow me to address all the challenges in the organization more effectively and will also enable me to improve the problem.

Reflection

I was able to detect the challenge that I was facing in the organization by recognizing my thoughts and intuitions. By identifying my feeling, I was able to work on the problem and it also helped me in gaining satisfactory results. By undergoing the thought CTFAR model I was able to devise ample strategies that helped me in implementing my action plan.

If I didn’t recognize my feelings, circumstances, thoughts then I would not have been able to act on the prevalent situation and get the results. Along with this by conducting the though model analysis I was able to devise an action plan which helped me in improving my previously made strategies and come up with better and optimized plans. The processes involved in my new action plan can help me in eradicating the challenge in the organization and this all happened due to the analysis conducted in the thought model.  管理学essay代写

The implementation of my action plan helped me in gaining effective and improved results as compared to before. After providing the employees with adequate training, and by listening to them actively and also by allowing them to speak their minds I was able to enhance the working morale of my employees. Now they are very productive in their work and they can effectively communicate with me. This has helped me in increasing employee engagement and reducing the turnover rate of the employees and now as a team, we can gain more proficient results.

The situation is now effectively improved and I am very satisfied with the present condition. If I am provided with a second chance to address the challenge the one thing that I would do entirely differently from before is to establish a foundation. The most crucial and complex practice for me was to gain the trust and confidence of my employees so that they can openly communicate with me.

I will now continue to work with this action plan so that all the employees in the organization gradually improve the remaining inefficiencies in their communication skills and work performance. I will try to address all the issues of the employees by actively listening to them and I also plan to arrange weekly meetings in the office hours to get an update on the performance.
